NSX-CA: Frequently Asked Questions

Is the NSX-CA part of the NSXCA?: Nope - the NSX-CA is an INDEPENDENT California based NSX club for California based NSX owners only and is not affiliated with the NSX Club of America (NSXCA), the national club. Please refer to and read the fine print on the bottom of this page and every page - thanks.
Can anyone join?: Anyone that lives in California and owns an NSX can.
Why did you guys make this website?: There was a vacuum - this filled it.
What are the dues?: No dues - all we ask is that you participate with good humor.
OK I joined - when do I get my decals?: Within a week via USPS.
Do I need to sign up for each email list separately?: DOH (yes).
Can the same password be used for all the e-mail lists?: You can use whatever password you want, or mix and match or whatever makes you happy, and yes you have to sign up for each email list separately.
One of those who joined is asking if they have to enter separate sign-in and passwords for each forum or one all inclusive takes care of all.: One login works for all the Forum subsections.
I have reservations about putting in my address info - so how will I get a decal ......??: No address = no decal. NONE of the personal information in the club database will be used by ANY of the sponsoring vendors for any purpose.
So what are you collecting it for?: For 4 reasons,

to make sure you are a legitimate owner with a real name and not a lurker, troll or poser who wants to stir nonsense;
you really have an NSX and reside in California - and yes we do have ways and means to find out and verify;
so you can get your decals,
so we can put up a database driven demographic map that shows where the NSX's "live" (by zip code - no names or etc.) This helps anyone interested in putting on a drive, car polishing contest, track event etc see if it is worth the effort or not.

What is the privacy policy of NSX-CA: Your information will only be used internally for fun things like our cool Google map, for NSX-CA event mailings, and the NSX model directory. We will never sell, giveaway, or otherwise distribute or share your information in any way, ever, except for $10,000,000 cash, small bills.
